Caring for Woven Items
Cleaning and Spot Treatments:
Use a soft brush on a vacuum cleaner to gently sweep over the surface of the fabric item to remove any dust or dirt that may have accumulated in crevices.
To spot treat a stain, first remove any solid matter around the stained area. Then, apply a mild detergent. Dampen a white cloth with clean water and wipe away any solvent residue—do not over-wet the natural fibers. Gently pat the area dry with a white towel.
Fabric linings can be spot treated with a mild liquid detergent and a damp white cloth. Rub the stain with the cloth and detergent until the stain is lifted, then allow the fabric to air dry.
Care:
Natural fibers, such as seagrass and bamboo, fade easily in sunlight. To protect the vividness of the fabric, we recommend reducing direct sunlight exposure or rotating the fabric to even out the natural fading.
Safety First:
Our floor mats are hand-woven with natural fibers and may be slippery on some surfaces. To avoid accidents, use non-slip material or tape under the floor mats. Placing heavy furniture on floor mats is also a good way to keep it securely in place.
